Calibration, Measurement & Probe Care
pH Calibration
Calibrate the Soil pH Probe using appropriate Bluelab pH calibration solutions according to the manufacturer's two-point calibration procedure.
Measuring Growing-Media pH
- Select a suitable location in the growing medium.
- Prepare the measurement location as directed in the product manual.
- Carefully position the Soil pH Probe without forcing it into hard material.
- Allow the reading to stabilize before recording the pH measurement.
- Clean and store the probe according to Bluelab's instructions.
Conductivity & Temperature
Use the dedicated conductivity/temperature probe to measure nutrient solutions. Select the desired conductivity scale and temperature unit using the meter controls.
Probe Storage
Keep the pH Probe hydrated using suitable Bluelab KCl Storage Solution. Never store a pH Probe dry or in distilled, deionized, or reverse-osmosis water.
